Day 5 Round 1 HCG Protocol

What a night! I think I was up about 5 times last night going to the bathroom. Fortunately,I was able to go back to sleep quickly. After two days of needing an afternoon nap, I was able to sail through the day without one. Dr. Simeon recommends going off of thyroid medication,

Here's the totally awesome, unbelievable news! I LOST 3.1 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoo hoo, I'm in the 170's. My weight went from 181.9 on July 2nd to 178.8 on July 34d. It's incredible. I know that it won't be like this everyday, but even one day like this is worth it. I can tell when I'm losing weight, because I crave water. Also, my body feels different. There is a sense of well-being most of the time and I kind kind of tell where the fat is mobilizing. It feels kind of tingly. That isn't really a good description, but it is the best I can do to describe how it feels. There's a part of me that is starting to picture what it might be like to wear skinny clothes again. Then, I start thinking that this is too good to be true and maybe it won't last. Maybe, it won't continue like it has for some of the other people who are doing it or who have done it. But, I guess even if it helps for awhile it is worth it. Already, I can breathe better and it isn't quite as hard to move around.

Usually, when I do some weight loss plan it takes forever to lose weight off of my tummy and what I call my "pouchie". My pouchie is the weight about 1-2 inches beneath my belly button. Last year, I successfully lost 42 pounds on Dr. Fuhrman's diet. However, the weight came off of my tummy area so slowly. At 142 lbs (height 5' 5 1/2 inches, my waist still measured 42 inches sucked in. Unfortunately, I gained it all back. I didn't lose weight for two months solid, after my initial success, and gave up. His weight loss plan is a very good one, but it didn't help my tummy fat to come off the way I needed it to. I think it may be because of the way my particular body processes carbohydrates due to my genetics. It seems on this protocol that the HCG helps the weight to come off of your abdominal area or wherever you have unhealthy fat. I'm hoping that it works that way for me.

It's getting easier to deal with the food. Yesterday, my hunger level was minimal and not really too much of an issue. Today, I feel a little hungier. Last night, I did take a calcium/magnesium pill. My legs have been twitching the last few days, which for me usually stops with a cal/mag supplement. It's made it harder to fall asleep, so finally in desperation I took it anyway. It didn't seem to affect my weight loss.

Stay close to a bathroom, if you decide to do this protocol!
